I've got a secret

I'll never tell

Sometimes I wonder, "do you as well?"

I'd say you have stolen my heart

But that would imply you wanted it from the start

I've got a secret

I'll never share

My heart will nevermore be worse for wear

If I keep it inside my head

I will never be heartless, I will never be dead

I've got a secret

I can never say

He would refuse me anyway

Unrequited and embarrassed I would be

This secret shall never take my pride from me

I've got a secret

Only my heart will whisper

If it could speak it'd say "take her before you miss her"

My heart will tell you

My heart always spills out what is true

I got a secret

My heart feels new

All because I love you
