Isn’t it a shame,

Knowing this was all a game,

I can’t believe the words you said,

They should have been left for dead,

The only thing that hurts this time,

Is knowing you were never mine.

Isn’t it a shame,

Dealing with all my pain,

She can’t believe you told a lie,

You are the man I do despise,

If anything I have learned,

Try to touch fire and you’ll be burned.

Isn’t this a beautiful end,

Don’t worry my heart will mend,

I hate to stop and leave you here,

But you were never near,

You belonged to the game,

I guess your mind was engaged,

Despite everything you did before,

I have never loved anyone more.
