An odd sensation..
A prickle of fear upon the skin
That sense that tells you something is wrong.
Something, so utterly wrong you can't help but notice.

Could it be the faint smell or copper hanging in the air?
Is it that the presence of something sinister lights upon your body?
Would it be the malice and venom that dripped from her words when she became unable to bear the stress any longer?

Or maybe..just maybe it's that now you've finally noticed the foot peeking out from behind the kitchen wall.
Maybe it's that you finally see why the air tastes of copper..
It could be that now you understand that evil presence
Possibly now you realize what her words meant and why they burned you so badly in your skull.
