My lover I must condone

You are life and beauty alone

But words get chocked inside my throat

And slience turns our love to stone

There lie cracks where happiness lives deep

Between the rocks not letting me sleep

For my ears and eyes strain to see

The hope of yesterday, what tomorrow should be

So if I ever become bold

Hold my breath - decide to break this mould

I hope the truth comes pouring out of me

And you come spilling into my arms.
