My heart is free, my head is clear.

I don't run back to your memory every change I get.

But your spirit still echos certain halls in my soul

And most times I let it take hold

And drag me back to those long twisted roads

With pointless conversations

Really loud music

And our mysterious looks that left me shaken

That made it all magical.

I catch my breath when I think someone is you

I hold my tongue with most - try to talk about someting new

Because it's hard for them to understand

Hard even for me to comprehend

That you were here and now your gone

Yet I still feel you.

Still hear you.

And I know I'm happy with my life that's being lived without you.

But what if I live this life without ever seeing you again

Never holding your hand

Never seeing that smile or hearing your voice

Those moments trapped in my heart

And never getting to say goodbye

..... never getting to say goodbye.
