Short Story: The Perfect Time

What am I to do? I need to feed but I know I cannot for if I do I shall be giving in to my inner demon. I know if that happens I will not be able to stop

but if I do not feed then I shall die. Shall I give in to my inner demon and feed off her? Or shall I leaver her be and go on my way?

I watch her as she walks down the path, all alone. Now would be the best time to strike, now would be the best time to feed while the moon is high in the sky

I approach slowly from behind, not making a sound. She pauses in her step and turns around, looking me in the eyes. Now would be the perfect time

I hold out my hand and hand her a single pure white rose. I nod my head and murmur "for you madame" then with another nod I turn and disappear into the shadows. Now would

be the perect time but sometimes its best to not give in

this is really good! It seems to be from a Vampire's point of view right?
I love the way you keep the reader guessing.

Im not quite sure what creature the main character is lol but I am thinking of extending it into a short story. Thank you for reading it ^^
