"You don't KNOW you're beautiful...THAT'S what makes you beautiful.." ~One them :)

By the way, there's a mistake below..It's meant to say: my FACE holds no divinity... :) Sorry about that.

Sometimes I wonder if people see me

Or just my mask.

They always tell me to be myself

But it’s not really a simple task.

Rejection, hate, disgust—

Everything I fear.

For if I show myself, will my choice be wise? Or will I lose my loved ones, so dear?

The girl inside of me wants to break free

But she’s too afraid of the light.

Grown accustomed to the darkness, she panics,

She won’t go down without a fight.

Her lost love told her to follow her dreams,

Promised her if she did, she’d finally find her wings.

His voice, filled with love, pursued her to move forward,

The melodic voice of an angel, who forever strikingly sings.

“I want to know you,” she says. “Show me your face.”

She knows how he feels, always singings for stability,

“While my voice is angelic my holds no divinity.”

I love him for what he is worth,

Not his face or charm or style,

Knowing him as held its fortune,

A benefit to last a while.
