When I got my wisdom teeth out I was prescribed Percoset, which is a pain medicine, but it made me pass out. This is how I felt. Written in 2014.

Mostly you think if you take one.

The pain will get better.

You’ll feel better.

But not for me.

For me I fainted.

Twice.

It also made me fall.

Down.

But then I was still conscious.

Not when I passed.

Out.

When you pass out.

Sometimes it feels like you’ve just been.

Asleep.

For hours.

Even though.

You’re told it was only a few seconds.

You feel weightless.

As your body goes limp.

And drops.

You feel like you’re dying.

You don’t feel any pain.

Your head is light.

And you black out.

Your body shuts down.

Though when you wake back up.

You feel like you just slept through the night.

And when you are out.

You see pictures.

As if you’re dreaming.

But how can that be?

For only a few seconds?

When you wake.

Up.

And see your surroundings.

It’s common to not know where you are.

It was the same for me.

I was like.

How’d I get here?

And.

How long was I out?

It never feels.

Or seems.

Like a few seconds.

It always feels like hours.

No more pain medicine for me.

No more passing out.

For seconds?

Or hours?

No more feeling like I’m dying.

No more pain.
