You lay down.

You don't want to close your eyes.

You know he will be the first thing you see.

You pull your knees to your cheast and close your eyes.

His face is all you see,

His laugh all you hear.

Then the good times flood your mind,

The first kiss,

When he said I love you.

They are soon chased away by the bad,

When you fought,

When he left not saying why or if it was your fault.

You feel a tear slide down your cheek,

Followed by another,

And another.

It's been a year,

And this is your nightly routine.

Geuss what.

I still love you.
