I usually look forward to Holidays...however I know my Family loves me with "unconditional love"...

It’s that time of year again. .Mothers’ Day. .the day everyone wants to make special for you…Husband wakes you up early not realizing you stayed up late to finish that extra chapter and just crawled in bed as he was getting up. Oh. Breakfast in bed, what a treat. .two fried ( in butter) eggs, bacon (which could have cooked another 12 minutes) and a glass of orange juice which he discovered didn’t really fill the glass so he watered it down. Oh, I almost forgot there was a beautiful peach colored flower ( thinking where did he get that? ) OMG..he picked my “garden club project” oh well the top prize was a day at a spa.I probably wouldn’t have been able to go anyway. Ten minutes later, he’s off , errands to run….I crawl out of bed and head to the kitchen…I think he used every pan and bowl I own , I fill the dishwasher and notice the garbage container is full, so I remove the old bag and replace with a new one, wipe down the counters , putting away the butter I notice the refrigerator needs attention, as I close the door I see the floor needs wiping up. This continues as I walk from room to room, on my way to the shower, each one crying out for attention.

Two hours later and I am still not dressed, I walk to the bathroom to take a shower when I discover my husband cleaned his closet and all his dirty clothes are in the laundry basket, so I fill the machine and turn it on. On my way to the sink to brush my teeth, I look out the window and there is a Mother deer and a fawn outside at my birdfeeder, I watch as they eat . Forgetting I had started the washer ( we live in the country with a well and septic) I get in the shower and while waiting for the water to warm up, I used my shower gel, oh it smelled so good, like orange blossoms in spring. Yippes, as I got under the showerhead.. ICE COLD WATER.. the washer took all the hot water. .we did the green thing on this house so it’s very efficient and environmentally friendly.. Oh crap I have to get this soap rinsed off.. very soft water.. rinsing was not working, so I took the towel and wiped down as best I could. My hair still had soap in it and my body was sticky, wow I thought to myself that was refreshing....

Nothing relaxes me more than reading my e-mails from my fellow writers and friends, so I headed to the computer. .the first e-mail I read was some woman accusing me of deleting her comments and blogs , trust me I had no clue who she was. Or what she was talking about.. .the next 8 e-mails were hers, each more threatening than the next. .I kept deleting them , getting a headache now ..don’t feel so good.. when bing “you’ve got mail” I looked oh no her again? This time it was an apology it seems she was blogging on several different sites at the same time and never closed out the windows and being my name was the last one she saw she assumed I had deleted her comments, she later discovered her cat did it, and she was sorry…hmm a blogging cat ....interesting.

I love someone who can approach life with your kind of sense of humor... You've won my respect... Not that you probably care at all about my respect, but I thought you might just appreciate the fact that I told you... Or maybe not, but anyway, I'm enjoying reading you, & I've just posted recently a piece which is dedicated to you sweet women for Mother's Day... I hope that you could enjoy it, & know that even when we mess up the kitchen, leave our dirty clothes & dishes for you to find, & all of the other things that you describe... We still love & appreciate you sweet women for all you do for us men...

Spyguy...Thank you for your kind compliments...and yes I do appreciate your comment regarding respect. I appreciate ALL comments by readers of my work. I try to deal with all life hands me or dumps on me and see humor is much of life.
I don't know why you can't find my writings, must be a glitch on booksie's site...I will try to correct this, as these writes all contain subliminal messages..hehehehe..
have a great day...
