I didn't dare to look directly at Seth because I new he was looking at Charlie. I walked immediately into my apartment and locked the door behind me.

I put down Charlie as he ran to get his trains. My breathing calmed down for a few minutes "Mommy's back!" Charlie cheered.

"Yeah, aren't you tired? Wanna sleep now with mommy?" I asked him. He shook his head "I wanna play" he held up his trains.

It was about seven, it would have been ten if Seth didn't bring me home to early. I was tired myself "Okay, Mommy will first take a shower, then I'll play trains with you."

"And a snack?" He asked

"and a snack." I smiled at him as I went to the bathroom.

I hung up the white dress after the shower and wore an oversized T-shirt with tight leggings. All the makeup was gone and my hair was damp and down. I looked in the mirror and compared my attire to the dress. I should return the dress.

It was about eight when I cut up some apples and brought them to Charlie, about to sit next to him.

The doorbell rang.

I didn't know what it was, but I felt my heart drop down to my stomach. I put the plate next to Charlie and headed to the door "I'll play with you in a bit baby" I told him as he nodded.

I opened the door and saw him.

He looked at me, a little bit rustled, I closed the door. But his foot was in the inbetween the opening.

"Seth it's late, you should go home" My voice was shaking as I tried to push the door.

His voice was dark, he spoke "Erin...who is that child...?"

I felt myself go pale, for a while I didn't speak. "Erin" He called my name, opening the door a little bit. I blushed when our eyes met, my attire wasn't something he should see me in.

"Please go away," I pleaded and still tried to push the door "It's not something to know abo-"

I stopped pushing when I felt the force on the other side soften a little bit. I looked up and saw Seth in awe, looking into my apartment. I looked back and I felt like bawling my eyes out.

"Mommy?" Charlie was standing a few feet away from me.

"Go back in the living room" I told him. Like an obedient child, he did.

Seth stopped pushing and I let go of the door to let it swing open.

This was our silent pause. "Is that your child Miss Flin?" I heard his voice.

Its our child.

I nodded and didn't look at him "And who's the father?" He asked.

You are.

"I can't tell" I responded weakly. I glanced up and I saw the most horrid sight of Seth.

"Miss Flin," He began "Pack your things at the office starting tomorrow."

I did not move and he started to walk down the stairs, giving his last message.

"Unless you explain everything next thing in the morning."

Later, I ate the apples and played with Charlie.

Charlie hugged my waist

"Mommy don't cry, I'll share my blue train with you."
