She knew how to love. She truly did. It was just that nobody would love her for her. They would use her. They would make her their tool. Her lack of love would kill her. She needed a friend more then anything else. Instead, she was abandoned.

She was glaring. Glaring, but at what? What could such a lovely girl get so worked up over. She fingered her ebony hair and sighed. She was not going to give up. All the feelings she had felt, all the pain she had to go through were not going to be wasted because of one girl who would not  tell her.

Gun to head, trigger ready.

I have to know.

"Who is it?" Her voice dripped with all the anger, frustration and love all mixed together. The other girl just started at her with fear obviously bright in her eyes. Pointing at a girl in a picture frame. The tendrils of black covered the face of the crazed woman with the gun. It was obvious. Of course. It was right in front of her and she didn't even realise. It was the most obvious person and she completely missed it.

"Please..." The black haired girl pleaded. "Please, go away."

Best friends forever? She was the third wheel. She would be forgotten, just like at home with her family or when there was a party with her friends. She would be forgotten because there was always someone more important or brilliant there and it would mask her importance.

She was a nobody, even if it seemed like she had it all. Yes, she lived in a nice house with a pool and such. Yes, she had a large family that appearently "loved" her. Yes she had many "friends". Sure, she had the looks and the brains. Perfect to anyone who would only see her as that popular girl at school or their daughter. No body knew the real her. Nobody knew how much she needed someone.

She smiled as she pulled together her only, "true friend" and the man shes ever honestly loved and said "You belong together and I was not meant to be with him. I may love him more then you or I may not, but the truth cannot be hidden. I am no part of this relationship. I need not interfere and I would only cause trouble. I give my blessing to the two I care most about in my entire life."

Off they went; her friend and her man. Married and with children, and again, leaving her forgotten. No more forced smiles. No more polite visits. No more faked merry calls. In fact, no more anything. It was just her all alone again.

Dissapearing into the mist that leads to no where, she jumped. She knew she had done the right thing. Nobody would miss her. After all, they were only using her. Each and every one of them. No matter, she didn't care. She loved each and every one of those same people that used her because even if they did not return her love, she knew it was something. Something was always better then nothing. She would surrender.

A woman jumping off a bridge. It was on the news because this woman was a very honored financial leader. She held the country's money in her hands and was richer and more well known then a vast majority of the world. The question was "Why would somebody with the world in their control kill themselves?"

Lack of true friends. Lack of love. Lack of support.

"A brief candle; both ends burning
An endless mile; a bus wheel turning
A friend to share the lonesome times
A handshake and a sip of wine
So say it loud and let it ring
We are all a part of everything
The future, present and the past
Fly on proud bird
You're free at last."
