I wrote this, in 2011. It's part of my 1st poem set, Forgotten Recovery.

Its destruction, is, like that, of, a tornado.

Lock, the doors, barricade, the windows.

I told, myself, I, wouldn’t let, this, happen, anymore.

You, find, someone, opening, that, vortex, again.

Letting, everything, you, locked, away, right, back in.

Scars, forever, remaining, memories, eternally, decimating.

Trying to, give, these, girls, my, one, and only, heart.

In, the end, they, tear, it, apart, without, any, regard.

I want, to show, them, that, guys, are not all, the same.

I, wouldn't put, you, through, torment, or, intentional, pain.
