I, always, thought, we'd, be, walking, this road, together.

Aren't, best, friends, suppose to, be, friends, forever?

Why won't, these, ravage, thoughts, ever, fade?

They have, a tight, grip, on me, it's like, I'm, being, restrained.

Even, when, I, put up, my best, defense, they are, still, relentless.

They won't, leave me, alone, for, long, they'll be, back, any, second.

The aroma, of, it, all, is, such, an antagonizing, scent.

Why do, all, of, these, things, make me, upset?

I'll, light, the fire, waiting, for, the flames, to detonate.

Hoping, they can, melt away, the ice, encasing me, in, pain and hate.
