Lonely Lullaby

 

Fall asleep in the afternoon

Looking at the invisible moon

In the dark gloomy sky.

His lonely lullaby.

 

Play a soft tune on a broken piano.

Listening to the white snow

Fall hard to the ground.

Sorrow wanting to surround

The notes flying, being played,

A tune felt by love delayed.

 

Fall asleep to my symphony

And imagine laying out near the sea;

Where the sand is soft, and the sun is bright,

Assuring you our love will be alright.

On my wings you shall fly,

 

And in the clouds plays my lonely lullaby.
