Rules and Regulations

Rules are there for protection of self and others

As those who set them want you to believe.

Rules are existent only to set the limits of comfort

The farther someone strays from them the more they feel disgruntled.

Rules are set to control those who need control

Those who are uncontrollable twist and contort under restriction.

Rules are the lines in which people wish for you to stay

And which they punish those who explore the outer reaches.

Rules are toys for children to play with

As they find the oddest places inside to express freedom.

Rules are created to be destroyed

This is fact not statement.
