an afterthought.

One last time I stand;

As this beginning deserves an end.

The blows may pierce my soul, and gnaw at my already fresh wounds;

But I know,

the sweet touch of death will engulf, healing every sting with its embrace.

Streching my arms I will wait,

As I know now, what I have to face.

The Forgiven

Krisha,
This is an absolutely wonderful piece of writing.
It can be related with almost anything, yet it somehow maintains its individuality.
I will be waiting for more such beauties from you.
