We were once your little angels

We used to make your tiredness fade away.

With our dirty faces and silly laughters,

We’d surely brightened up your pressured days

You spoiled us with your love and generosity

Making us envied by many,

Yet your little angels finally learned how to fly.

We flew higher and we were out of your reached.

We grew up and life wasn’t the same as it used to be.

We changed and we barely knew one another.

We’d lost track of time and so as your guidance.

We were lost and we were slowly falling apart.

Every day we never fail to let you down,

We saw how you wept and how much you miss your angels

We wanted to come back, yes, we really do.

But finding our way back is never simple anymore.

We pleaded for your undying forgiveness

And forgiveness is what you always gives us.

Oh, Papa! How we wish life would just be easy and simple.

So we can be your innocent little angels once more.
