This was written for and about someone pretty amazing. I hope I described it as well as I wanted to, because if I did, then you should be able to see and feel all of it.

Running hands through soft brown hair

bring my fingers down to trace

the easy angles and intricate structures

of your astonishingly beautiful face.

The electricity that crackles in the night air

is more than enough to create

blinding, megawatt, ultraviolet light

to light up this barely streetlit space.

My eyes ask you a silent question

and the lightest touch across my waist

answers the plea I cried out

Come on, baby, please just always stay.

Running fingers over cheeckbones

to the lips that I love so much to taste

Memorize the perfect curve of shoulders

that hold quiet strength and grace.

More bold with every move

I get lost in our wonderous embrace

Bliss, ecstasy, and love collide

when the beginning of me and the end of you becomes a nondecipherable place.

Excellent Job Kristen. You could feel the love you feel for this man in the words you wrote. You are a true poet. Can't wait to read more of your work. :)
