Frost and fog drift slowly toward the ground

Morning dew slops and slashes over rise petals

Deep black clouds move in and roots of trees slowly dry up

An earthquake erupts as a hurricane slowly approaches

Dead trees start collapsing from an earlier drought

A single flower blows away in the wake of the approaching storm

The trees sway and the thunder strikes

Vultures fly looking for the perfect weather, after the storm

There are no sprouting flowers, no soft gentle wind, or trees reaching for the sun

Only a single bird searching fir it’s mate

Pouring rain tears through the forest causing leaves to crash

The air starts to swirl and the cotton ball clouds disappear

A tiny ant is swallowed by the middle of the forest

Waiting for the storm to pass and God to reach out his hand.
