It was all going so right,
then one day, just over a small fight,
she walked out and left the door ajar,
I followed her on the street,
I screamed, I yelled, she walked,
I begged her to stop,
things could be sorted if we talked.

My mind- agitated, my thoughts- churning,
my love searching reason, my heart still burning.

She did'nt look back, she wept and kept
going on,
my pace was light, my feet uncertain,
to pursue or not, till she was gone.

The roar of the engine silenced it all,
with these two eyes I saw her fall,
crowds gathered, I stayed,
my life once ruptured now lay betrayed.
