Should another day yet lead to lament?
Or was it so we shall no longer be?
When days begin to assure this torment,
It is you whom I have regret to see.

But then again, why am I to feel remorse?
Was it not you who chose this chance to pass?
If pours again the water to our course,
Let the winds so shake if it were to last.

And if the thought of it leads to unrest,
Yet the thoughts themselves find way to dwindle,
It was known to be done without duress,
So as not to give way and rekindle.

So drains the ravine that was so founded,
And so relieves those thoughts so confounded.
