depression
as i gaze into your beautiful eyes,
i cant help but be swept away
i know i should not listen
but my heart tells me to find out your name
oh, cruel game of misery,
why can you not let me be?
i know if i pursue you, i will be hurt
for this is not my first encounter with you
why must you look so inviting, so dark and dreary?
to follow you would surely be the ultimate price
to pay this just for this game called life
i know, depression, that you keep caling my name
but still, death would seem just the same
i am so sorry to say this,
but for the moment i must leave you where you stand

sincerely,
one lost, insignificant soul
