Hold me tight
Tonight I will fight
For the truth
Hold me close
Don’t say a word
This time I will be heard…

They told me it wouldn’t end well
But you picked me up when I fell
My hero, you let me down
Reality I’ve found

False promise, I will
Misery in for the kill
Wishing the phone would ring
Tears you bring

But when it comes to it
The pieces just won’t fit
I have to turn away
I can’t face you today

You forgot me
Can’t you see
I’m gone now
Take a bow

The show you put on
The prize you won
Was a fake
My faith you take

So forgive you
I don’t want to
Until you face this world
Forget your little girl
