Death

We never really see it come

When is going to be the last breath?

It makes my body go numb

It brings tears to our eyes

We hate the goodbyes

Why did you have to go?

All I can think is no

First comes the denial

Then the truth sinks in

We realize this is a testimonial

We shouldn't take someone for granted

Take it from me

Your world becomes disenchanted

Your world might be dark but maybe,

The sun will shine soon

Just don't forget about them
