If I was to walk through Heaven's Gate, would you be there to greet me?
If I was to gaze upon your face, would just one kiss defeat me?
Were you and I to share a dance, would our hips sway neatly?
Were you and I to share a bed, would our hearts thrash sweetly?
Were I your Adam and you my Eve, would Paradise accept us?
Were the forbidden fruit to haunt our tongues, would God’s grand scheme elude us?
Were this our final day on earth, would our love burn brightly?
If fate was to steal you from my arms, would our souls stay sprightly?
Gaze with me into the heavens.
Link your heart and soul with mine.
Lay with me in paradise
And leave our cares behind.
