A A A

I don't want to remember, make it go away.
I don't want to remember, yet these memories will not fade.
I don't want to remember your face or smile,
I don't want to remember, but these memories stay all the while.
I don't want to remember anything from my past;
I don't want to remember racing ever so fast.
I don't want to remember that one night gone wrong,
Or how I felt before it all as you held me in your arms.
There's nothing left to remember, but I can't help it, I do.
I don't want to remember, especially not you.
I remember when we would sit in the park at night all alone,
I remember when we would laugh, but somehow, the laughter's gone.
I remembered my past, when I was with you,
I don't want to remember, but I do.
It's harder than anything to let you go,
Nothing's left with me, this I know.
I don't want to remember, make it go away,
Or, you can choose to send death's fury my way.
