Summary

Based on possibly one of the grestest pieces of advice I have ever recieved. Thanks to my grandfather, I dont know if you meant it to have such an impact, but it did.

You call me over,
I hold out my hand,
you place a stone
smooth and round.
It feels alive in my palm
so cool and soft
Heavy in a small way.
You tell me I’m moving on
that life is opening before me.
You smile as you say ‘opportunity’.
You tell me that,
wherever I go,
stay close to the earth.
We smile and talk
about the pebbles aesthetic beauty.
