All my life, I've just wanted to be strong.
I want to be that person that people look up to.
I want to be the shoulder to lean on and the one people call if something goes wrong.
Yet, since you left, the need for these things is no longer here.
We weren't a couple, just best friends.
You said you believed me and my past.
You said you'd help me through it.
You said I'd get to be the strong one I always hoped I'd be.
You said you'd never hurt me.
If you believed me, why did you say I was lying for attention?
How can you help me through it when you're gone?
How can I be strong without you?
You hurt me.
