I was never worth more than the change in my pocket where others saw a child you just saw dollar signs you take take take and when there's nothing left give you throw me away like i was never your kid

you say you brought me in this world and you wish you left me out of it all because we see the world with a different view you taught me not to feel but never how to heal im always in fear of every single tear

you cant break a heart if its not there in the first place ive spent  all my life making decisions based on you careful just to not be like the one that came before beaten and broken down to my core

i never had a mother but im still a daughter soul shattered and broken lost in the wind you carried me for nine months and it's all you ever did and that you didn't even do just for me you cashed me in like i was nothing more than a check and didn't care if i grew up to be a wreck
