I realised recently that People under 18 are unable to purchase a bag of ice, as it is only sold in Liquor Store.

I am one that can't purchase ice, this became a problem when i was volenteering at a local museum, selling sausages and cold drinks. My mother sent me to Safeways/Woolworths to purchase some ice to keep the drinks cool.

I looked all around Safeways, but they didn't sellbags of ice. Iasked a worker there and the personsaid the only place to buysome was in the Liquor Store. Therestrictions forLiqor Storesare well known, i was not allowed to enter without an adult.

I had to walkback to theMuseum to get my mum to come with me. I believe this is rediculous, there is no danger towards anyone for buying a bag of ice. Yet peopleunder 18cannot buy it, simply because it is sold in a Liqor Store. In my oppinionice should be allowed to be sold in a Liqor store to people under 18 or it should be on offer at Safeways.

Do you agree with me?

If not why?

Thankyou for reading my oppinion on the matter.
