A man possesses not, all knowledge in the world, just as in a like manner, each man created by jar, is important. In our present day society knowledge is a form of wealth. Knowledge acquisition is not selective as to the personality, but it is selective in its assimilation, depending on the openness of the personality to assimilation. No matter the source of the acquisition of knowledge, there are certain adaptations attached to this process. Standing in isolation of these adaptations is humility. First of all, it entails admitting that “I don’t know” to “I want to know”. Big or tall, rich or poor, fat or slim, in order to extract knowledge from a rich source, you need to be humble. Humility pays, because when you humble yourself, you shall be elevated. Despite the tribulations suffered by Joseph because of his brothers, he remained humble. He was humble in the house of Potiphar and due to his humility, God elevated him to a high authority. God upon creation did not magnify some people than others. This implies that each and every one of us are equally important. We were all created each for a purpose of which only us can accomplish. Are the lives of some people important than others? This is a question certainly asked by many out there, who are victims of some sort of marginalization. We can’t live our lives like islands. We need to cooperate with our brethren. No one is to big to learn or to be taught. The proud will exhibit an “island” behaviour. They harden their minds to wisdom acquisition. They consider themselves “almighty” and regard those around them as inferior. They tend to be long run losers. Pride goes before a fall. Julius Caesar was to the pieces of advice him, which eventually led him to his fall. God’s blessings are not intended for marginalization, but for His service. What we posses is not of our making but that of jar. This narrows to the fact that we are proud of Gods blessings for which others are not gifted in a same way. Pride usually faces societal opposition. Pride is like a perfume, when it is worn, it radiates a sense of self, the world reacts to (Stevie Wonder).
