I was born with a morphed face. One thing they knew. I won't be beautiful.

I grew up hating myself. I was only ever taught one thing. I won't be beautiful.

I never laughed, smiled or joked, knowing that I won't be beautiful.

But, the first day of school, a girl came up to me and said: "Hey. You wanna be friends?"

"Why?" I asked. "I won't be beautiful. You won't like me."

She smiled and said: "But how will I know? I don't know the beauty of your heart. I don't know your smile, your laugh or your excitement. I don't know your perks, I don't know your flaws, I know nothing except you're a girl in need of a friend. I don't care what people look like. Beauty comes from the heart, not from the face."
