Postcards:
Postcards, to friends, I wanted to say. I’m here on a holiday
Having a wonderful stay, first I couldn’t find them
Post cards no where, in LA, New York
Then out of the air
West Milford NJ, in a small gift shop, where they sold
Trinkets, flags and the lot
So post cards I brought, to
Send to my friends, but onward my journey, it just didn’t end
No time did I have of holiday Cheers,
There were other reasons
Why I was here
So now I’m heading, for home
Once again and all of my
Post cards will soon
Leave my hands, wrote on the cards
In the cheekiest way
“I realized my journey
Was not a holiday”
