These words came to me randomly one day. It was some time after a break up. I sat in front of the computer and this is what came out.

To the love of my life
Im the one you wanted to call wife
But you let it go over night
Let go of our love like a kite
And I just wanted to say its ok
Cuz I been weak while I seem strong
But my heart was breakin all along
Knowing that all would be alright
I close my eyes and say good-nite
Tommorrow is a better day
I'll find the one that'll be here to stay

And I look up to my father and say a prayer
Hoping he'll make everything all better
I walked away once but you and I wasn't done
We took our time and had some fun
But when it's time, it's time
Gotta know how to read in between the lines

So ill start again, fresh and brand new
My eyes are open, I see now just what I gotta do
I'll take my time, I'll breath again
And some day soon you can be a friend
Until that day yes we'll part
But I won't forget in my heart
All is good all is well
No time now to dwell
Just let it go, let it fly
In my heart I know it'll all be alright
