Well, anything can happen in a dream. You determine what happened.

The sunset’s colors were vivid.

The yellows and reds were bright.

They were inviting.

I extended my arm.

I stretched it as far as it would go.

Nothing happened.

Darkness fell

along with my withering hope.

My sight disappeared.

My balance chased my sight.

Things were strange.

I didn’t know where I was.

I didn’twantto know where I was.

A sharp pain jolted into my spine.

I couldn’t scream.

My feet acted themselves as if they were locomotives.

The pain came again and again.

I was going to die.

I was going to die.

I was going to fucking die.

I opened my eyes,

it was just a dream.
