Momma don't you worry, you know I'll be all right.

Even though I can't seem to sleep this night.

I'm writing you to tell you, that though I'm far away.

I'm still thinking of you, each and every day.

Dreaming of home, I'm dreaming.

With the bullets flying and people dieing, I still can dream.

I dream of you and daddy, praying every day.

Momma don't stop crying, I know I'm far away.

Even though this night I feel alone,

I'm dreaming of home.

I don't know when I'll be coming back,

Cause I still have work to do.

But I know it won't be long now,

because I'm coming home to you.
