I felt my heart flutter,

Whenever you said my name,

I felt my world shudder,

on you I place the blame.

For I'm not sure if you know,

in all the things you do,

That you make me feel like I can fly,

You're making me fall in love with you!

When you smile, I smile,

When you laugh, I want to cry,

When you whisper, I sing,

When you leave, I want to die.

This paper is my only comfort,

My pen eases the wound,

I didn't know I could start to feel,

How could you do this so soon?

You must be a sweet dream,

Or a beautiful nightmare,

You are an officer, yes,

But sweet heart, I really don't care.

Your kindness creates the wound,

Your beauty pours the salt,

I found myself falling in love with you,

And sir, it's all your fault!
