For the world of fantasy, where you can be with whomever you want....meet me there.

Meet me at the back porch,

Where the ocean gleams.

Lean back, close your eyes,

Listen to me sing.

I'll give you sunshine,

Happy warmth and light.

No list of wrongs,

Show me all you do right.

Meet me in a poem,

To say more than you realize,

Kiss my lips once more,

Your mouth a melody I've memorized.

Meet me in the room,

Filled with notes and song,

Smell the sea on my skin,

Forget any sense of wrong.

Meet me in your dreams,

For you have never left mine,

Dry your eyes my friend

Savor our time.

Meet me in the night,

Meditate on what you could do.

Meet me in the fantasy,

Because that's where I'll always love you.

lol I don't think you would want to meet me there for the reasons behind this poem. But you and I live in a very special bond of sisterhood :D

You are too kind to say what you do! I really am a fairly average writer, but with your support there isn't a thing I can't do!

Happy New Year to you as well my sister!

I will meet you on the porch
And listen to you sing
I will share a poem
Enjoy the happiness it brings

But there I will have to stop
As my fantasy to be there
And meet you for a chat
It is a different love we share

Okay it is cheesy but I tried :-) a beautiful poem about a love that can not be it seems...Great flow and rhyme and full of emotion..A poem I felt funny reading as it is written by you......Well written
