Sometimes you need to see, or nobody will.

Nobody wakes up,

Nobody sighs,

Nobody goes to school,

Nobody cries.

Nobody isn't noticed,

Nobody is shy,

Nobody stumbles in the hall,

Nobody just wants to die.

Nobody gets laughed at,

Nobody cries,

Nobody picks up a knife,

Nobody cuts her ties.

Nobody says she's happy,

Nobody lied,

Nobody saved her,

Nobody tried.

Aww lol, thank you. That makes me so happy to know people like what I write.

Damn straight Aria!

I actually wrote that because a friend of mine tried to commit suicide. I stopped her at the last moment and the sad thing was that no one had tried to save her before.

Very good, if a bit depressing.

lol thank you very much. It is meant for you to help people and not over look them. I've learned several times that sometimes the best thing you can do for someone is just to see them

This poem went from being happy and cheerful to just tolerably sad to just depressing!

I applaud your ability to shift into these three stages without eveidently much difficulty!!

The poem ended on a melancholic note - poor Nobody.
The use of the word, or noun (in this case) "Nobody" was extremely creative! Well done :)

Sadly sensational, in that the content of the poem was sad, but the writing of it to the very last line "nobody tried" was powerful!
It gets a like/vote from me.

And you get a huge smile from me! This was one of my very first poems I ever created, but I feel it speaks to how so many teenagers feel. Thank you so much for reading and commenting!
