Wake up my love, you've slept so long.

I stroke your face and sing my love song.

I want to stay like this forever,

curled up in your arms,

I want to watch over you,

I'll protect you from harm.

A moan in your sleep,

sends a smile to my face.

You open your eyes,

in them I want to spend all my days.

You curl a strong arm across my waist,

kiss me gently on the ear,

You smile and whisper lightly, "I love you my dear."

Blankets entangle our legs,

a paradise of white,

you stroke my face and remember last night.

Your caress tells me that you love me,

I smile and think about my luck.

You place your lips on mine,

and then I wake up.
