What a strange little girl I was,
staring at the ocean all day.
What an odd one I was,
perferring to stand there than play.
How bizzare I must have looked to those passing by.
If only they knew that I was planning to fly.
For my wings can't be seen to anyone but me.
The only thing they saw, was my need to be free.
I had no intrest in dolls and toys.
I had no urge to play with other girls and boys.
"What a strange little girl." People would said, "What a strange little girl staring at the ocean all day."

To be in our own world of dreams and fantasy can be fun at times. A nice poem about your vision to fly. Well written

Loved it.
