The Cross

My daughter don't give up, just a little longer, your almost there.

You might not understand now but you will.

The slashing, the scorning, the bruising  it was all for a purpose.

I chose you because I knew you could win the race no matter what came your way.

He will never leave you, nor forsake you.

I died for you,

Even though you feel you do not desrve it, I did it for you!

When you wake up in the morning, I am there waiting for you.

I long to hear you calling me, exalting my name.

Say it again, how much you love me and need me.

I have heard your cry in the middle of the night,

Every time you are hurting, I am the one who is always by your side.

I have collected your tears in a bottle, I have heard your cry.

Open your heart to me and let me in, I am knocking at your door.

I can not  go in because the door knob is on your side.

I can't come in unless you invite me in.

I love you my child,

I will be waitng for you.
