The first time I fell in love, I took down my barriers. I easily unlocked my chest, to make a withdrawal. My banker never even objected, for people have tried to break my chest open but the banker did his work well. But with the first withdrawal my banker did not object for the banker was curious how id spend it. I went to hand my treasure to a girl whom at the time I thought deserved it more then I ever did. As I was about to hand it to her, I dropped it. There it slid across the busy side walk. I tried to scream “nobody move!” but no one could hear my desperate plea. The treasure slid side to side scratched and bruised. People began to kick at it unconscious of it mostly. Some just stepped on it outright or slid it out of there way still scraping it a bit. When I had long forgotten the original woman, in the history of time…
-
The heart finally stood still. I was about to snatch it and finally bring it to my banker with tears of regret. But then as I was not a moment away from its reach, someone picked it up. I looked up to see a person whom reminded me of myself as a child. They dusted off my old heart and put some bandages on it. When I finally got there, it was healed once again knew…but with a few scars here and there. But that didn’t matter to me anymore. This new person promised that she had taken care of it. She said it was a beautiful treasure and that if she had it she’d treasure it forever, to take care of it, in sickness and in health forever into bliss~les time.
-
I stayed reluctant…till the bitter end. And said you may keep it on loan, for now. I had been too petrified by the vastness of forever not to realize that I actually did want her to keep it for the rest of time. Yet while I was sure she has keeping my treasure safe as she had promised and assured me she did…she also was cruel inside. She had actually tarnished my treasure; it lay rusted in her treasure hold filled with burns, cuts, scraps, burses, and mould.
-
Eventually I caught a glimpse of my treasure all beaten up, I demanded an explanation. She went on her hands and knees and begged forgiveness and assured me she was careless, begging me she’d heal them right up! I being relatively new at this game of trust, forgave her.
-
Nine chances latter she took my most valuable possession and burned it in a pot of rusted nails. I was crushed and now a porper. She said she had found a golden horde more valuable to her then I and that she had been keeping that other heart for a while and she had used it several times. She said she only used my treasure to make herself rich, while she was waiting for someone ells to come alone to make her richer.
-
My treasure in peaces, ash to ash… I was lost…for a long time… eventually I realized I didn’t NEED her to take care of my heart I had a loyal banker whom had dun the job very well in the past. So I started to make myself a fortune. It is bright crimson red... it may be scared for I am not very good a craftsman but non the less it has its weights worth in gold to accommodate for that.
-
So…today I finally went to make a deposit with my banker. After hearing my story, He asked me when I think I will be making the next withdrawal. I grinned, as he placed my heart in my newly steel, diamond chest. “I hope you don’t mined reinforced it with diamond, to keep it safer then it ever was” he said. “I noticed, and thank you” I said as I inclined my head. “The old banker looked at me, adjusted his glasses and commented “You still haven’t answered my question. When shall I expect your next return?” I looked straight into his eyes and admitted “I don’t know... But be sure as hell I shall not return alone. As well, I will be wiser and more cautious in making my next investments…or dear I say investment?”
