At Peace.

Poem by: ladygothicka

Summary

I wrote this whilst listening to "May Morning Dew" by Moving Hearts, an Irish folk band. It's a great tune, and really chills me out. It also takes my mind off my lying ex boyfriend.

The waves lap against
the shore, kissing my toes
gently as I stare at
the ocean. For the first
time in 9 months, I'm
happy. You are no longer
tormenting me, and the
hole you left behind
has been filled by God.

Even though I grieved
when you left, I can
feel myself growing in
joy, strength and wisdom.
Finally, I've found a home
that won't crumble.

I'm at peace now.
