Status: Finished  |  Genre: Romance  |  House: Booksie Classic

This poem is for all the incurable romantics out there. Do you think you belong to another century you probably do.

Incurable romantic this poem is for you, do you think you belong into another century,

you probably most likely do. The late 20th and 21st century is not meant me or you,

there is not enough romance in the air of us.

We do not see enough tender love, romance, just sex and profane language

and we don't understand. We don't see ladies dressing like ladies use to doo

and we can't tell the difference between men and women too.

People think sex and love or one and same, but we know that they are different

and we try to explain.

The ladies don't dress in dresses, pearls, and lace, they dress in jeans, and slacks,

like men do today.

The men dress up like women and try to pretend to be a woman too, something

we don't understand and we don't want to do.

There is no tender words of love and they are rarely said,

all  these men and women want to do is jump into the bed.

Once it is over the relationhip is dead, and they never see each other

again and that is very sad.

Incurable romantics live in their own private world . It is a world a special world meant

to writers and poets with a heart to write and this is our very private world both day and both night.
