I wrote this when a friend of mine took her own life. It was a way of me dealing with what had happened.

She left without telling me.

She never said goodbye.

I never told her I’d miss her.

I never told her why.

She was my best friend.

She never told me anything was wrong.

I could of helped.

I cried for so long.

She was so beautiful.

She had a nice life.

I may have been jealous at time.

I still can’t believe she used that knife.

She left a note.

She placed it on the desk.

I never stopped her.

I never tired my best.

She’s gone.

She left without a trace.

I will miss her.

I can’t believe this place.

She left a picture of her.

She had written my name in the blur.

I picked it up and cried.

“I will never forget her.”
