This is a poem I wrote one night in middle school when I was unable to sleep. I had watched an anime earlier that day and so this is the product of that night.

In the night they wake

To make you shiver and shake

At the thought of the awaited bite

You shall be sired tonight

In you bed you lie

As you wait to die

The darkness shall come

It has been done

Your love has showed

His teeth bestowed

In your neck they sank

As you waited to go blank

Your breath slows

As the blood flows

You close your eyes

As you bleed out the lies

The lies that you were told

That you shall never be so bold

As to take the kiss

And leave this so called “Everlasting Bliss”
