He hesitated under the blue glow of the mercury streetlight. As he looked down, seeing the blood pooling at his feet, he remembered every second that had just gone by. Dropping the gun that was held tightly in his hand, his mind raced as the sound of the gunshot rickochet around the deserted alleyway. His hands trembled, his lip started to sweat and he was at a loss, not knowing what to do. What had started off as a simple prank had turned into something that could change his life forever. He knew what he had to do. He put the gun in his pocket and made sure that nothing around them would give him away. He dug through his pockets searching for a pen and paper and hurridly scribbled two words onto the paper. Those two words were an attempt to ease his mind, but ended up helping with nothing. I'm sorry, was all it said. He quickly looked around him and slowly walked down the alleyway, the sole sound that could be heard was from the blackcat next to him. He turned to the cat and as it looked him in the eyes, he felt as if it were staring into his soul. He continued walking and never looked back.

Short I know, but I wrote this when I was bored during English class and I liked it, lemme know what y'all think
