He is my soul mate, but he is not mine

He is the love of my life, but he belongs to her

He fills my days with passion, but goes home at night to another

It is a complicated and simple love we share

I read his heart with my heart, but I am not his

I love him with my entire being, but I belong to another man

I fill his days with light, but fall asleep in the dark with another

We love them, they love us, and we love each other
